On Thursday October 18th Careers Register held a fundraising table quiz for the charities of GOAL and The Irish Heart Foundation in which they successfully managed to raise €2,685. The event was held the Fallon & Byrne and pitted professionals from the industries of Accountancy and Law against each other in seven rounds of general knowledge questions. The 88 contestants who took part were treated to a fun evening featuring wine, appetisers, hors d’oeuvres and spot prizes.
MC on the night was the flamboyant and charismatic Davina Devine. Some of Ireland’s largest and most prestigious legal and finance firms attended the event. Congratulations to Team William Fry who were declared the winners and walked away with the grand prize of a brand new iPad for each team member. The evening was an enormous success and provided a wonderful opportunity for participants to network and mingle. Careers Register would like to thank everyone who took part and for their generous donations to both charities, your contributions were greatly appreciated.
