This Friday, Cpl will be attending the Limerick Jobs Fair and Career expo presented by the Limerick Local Heros. The half-day event seeks to provide businesses with an opportunity to discover exciting new talent, while also giving jobseekers a chance to network and meet potential new employers who are actively recruiting. Cpl staff will be be on hand during the morning to give specific advice on CV preparation.
Limerick Jobseekers will also benefit from the free advice seminars and workshops delivered by local industry experts. These seminars are sponsored by ULearning Skillnet. The schedule for the lectures is as follows:
- Mary Lynch: “Career Planning” 10.30am & 12.45pm
- Cpl: CV Clinic: 11am
- Dan O’Donoghue: “No more cold calling” 12pm & 1.15pm
- Pat Carroll: “Building your online presence” 11.15am
- John Fitzgerald: “6 laws of lifetime employability” 12pm
ULearning Skillnet’s Network Manager, Ronan O’Boyle said “The objective is to help companies and jobseekers, to find each other. It is also a platform for Limerick-based education institutions and organisations to meet individuals who wish to up-skill. Ultimately it will contribute to growing a strong employment base in the region.”
