European Branch Profile: Cpl Jobs Slovakia

Written by Dave Cullen

Cpl’s Slovakian office was established in 2005 as part of the acquisition of Key 6 Business Solutions. The branch is based in the capital city of Bratislava and was amalgamated and rebranded within the group in 2007. During this time it was integrated into the Cpl Jobs brand and currently employs six dedicated recruitment consultants. The office provides permanent and temporary recruitment services across a range of industries including IT, Multilingual, Finance and Engineering Jobs. Cpl Jobs Slovakia recruits for some of the largest and most notable IT and telecoms multinationals including AT&T, Siemens, IBM, Dell Deutche Telekom and Amazon.

Bratislava is the largest city in the country with a population of over 460,000 people and is situated on both banks of the Danube and Morava Rivers. It is widely recognised as the cultural heart of Slovakia with a strong multicultural mix of ethnicities and religious groups.

At present, the market is very buoyant with a significant demand for multilingual candidates with German, Spanish, French, Greek and Russian. Many of our clients have a demand for shared service centre functions and BPO services (Business Process Outsourcing). The Slovakian jobs market is primarily centred around the city of Bratislava where the IT segment remains an area of continuous growth. The nearby Austrian city of Vienna is also an attractive location for IT candidates seeking exciting new opportunities in this industry.

Cpl Slovakia is committed to working in close cooperation with local universities during peak months throughout the academic calendar of May / June and September. It is during these periods that our team of expert consultants provide students and recent graduates with career and job search advice seminars as well as CV clinics and recruitment fairs.
