How to make a good impression at a temp interview

An interview is not always required for temporary positions, but it’s best to be prepared for an interview – just in case.
To make a good impression at interview, follow these tips from Cpl consultants:
Research
Always research the company. Read the information provided by your Cpl consultant or check out the information on
the company website. Get familiar with the company’s competitors, target markets and customers.
Practice
Prepare your own questions in advance of the interview. Practise answering them with friends, family or in front of the
mirror.
Professional appearance
Dress appropriately in professional office attire.
Attitude
Try not to be nervous. You will be better able to sell yourself if you are calm, clear and confident.
Body language
Ensure you make regular eye contact with the interviewer and don’t forget to smile!
Integrity
Be honest and truthful about your experience and achievements in the workplace.
