Accountancy Salary Guide 2012
2012 has seen further growth in the number of International organisations arriving in Ireland which has led to an increased number of permanent placements in the accountancy arena.
Candidates with 2-5 years PQE are in demand as are those with a working knowledge of a recognised ERP system. Of late we have seen a number of requirements where integration/migration or project accounting experience is an advantage. Given a largely positive start to the year for most organisations we would be optimistic that permanent vacancies for fully qualified accountants will continue to grow over the year.
The contract market for accountants is strong. Newly qualified ACAs with Big 4 or Top 10 backgrounds are highly sought after by Multinational organisations; particularly in the Pharmaceutical sector and the outlook is very positive.
