In the practice environment we are currently experiencing high demand in Audit, Internal Audit , Taxation and Corporate Recovery particularly in the top 10 practices which have been hiring readily in the last 6 months. Many accountants qualifying in the last year however, see their future in Industry or FS roles rather than practice.
In general, the market for newly qualified and experienced Chartered Accountants is very good. SMP’s (Small & Medium sized practices) are now hiring in earnest and green shoots are very tangible.
