In partnership with its client, CPL is currently seeking a CNC Programmer for a permanent position with a leading manufacturing company based in Dublin.

CNC Programmer

A world class leading manufacturer of tooling for the Pharmaceutical industry requires a full time, permanent CNC programmer to work with our team of programmers. The ideal candidate will get to work in a challenging environment, working with the latest software and technology, in a state of the art machine shop.

Responsibilities:

* Produce programs for all CNC machine tools in the most effective and efficient way
* Become conversant with all CNC machine tools, control panels and programming parameters within the Company
* Liaise with Design Engineers and Production Department as necessary to assist with the resolution of manufacturing problems and fixture design/manufacture
* Identify tooling requirements for all machinery at an early stage to ensure continuity of production to meet customer requirements
* Review and revise all part programmes when required due to drawing revisions etc to optimise feeds, speeds, tool travel etc.

Requirements:

* Minimum of three years relevant practical experience
* Programming experience using G - codes and Cad-Cam software such as Mastercam or Solidcam
* Programming of multiaxis machines
* Programming experience using 3D models
* Working knowledge of Fanuc controllers
