My client is an Irish company providing high quality branded hygiene products to Healthcare Professionals and Patients in the Hospital, Nursing Home and Community in Ireland as well as Retail.

They have recently expanded their customer base in the Healthcare sector and are now seeking to recruit a Clinical Product Specialist (Nurse) to assist in this growth. This role is West of Ireland based and the successful candidate will be required to travel from West of Ireland to South of Ireland.

This role initially will begin as a part-time role 2+ days per week with a view to increasing to full time as the full breadth of customers come on board.

As a Clinical Product Specialist you will be responsible for building relationships with clients (i.e Nursing Home Managers, Nurse Specialists, Directors of Nursing, Procurement) and educating them on the usage of the product range as well as assessing the educational needs of these customers during the product trial. You will have direct contact with the patient users and provide support to them in relation to the product usage.

In addition you will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities within accounts and liaising with the Sales Representatives in relation to upselling, cross selling etc.

Partaking in marketing campaigns, processing product complaints as well as facilitating at medical conferences may also be part of the role.

The successful candidate will be

· RDN qualified with 2 year post graduation experience

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills

· Nurse Advisor and/or Sales experience is an advantage but not essential

· Flexibility to work irregular hours

· Drive and energy and ability to work on own initiative

· Strong learning ability
