Kate Cowhig International Recruitment in partnership with its client are seeking a Consultant Paediatric Cardiac Surgery for their state of the art hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The hospital is an excellent cardiac institution with a high-level professional standard and one of the most advanced cardiac centres in the Middle East. It provides the majority of cardiac services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The hospital has four clinical department: Adult Cardiology, Paediatric Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery and Cardiac Anaesthesia.

EDUCATION

Essential:

· Medical Degree from a recognized Medical College.

· Full Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS), American or Saudi Board or equivalent in General Surgery.

· For local applicants - fulfils the requirements of Saudi Council for Health Specialities and holds a valid SCHS Professional Registration ID.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Essential:

· Five (5) years of recent experience working in a specialised Professional Paediatric Cardiac Surgery, of which at least three (3) years must be as a Senior Registrar level in Paediatric Cardiac Surgery, and (6-12) months of recent experience in equivalent position in a recognised facility abroad for candidates who have no subspeciality in Paediatric Cardiac Surgery.

Desirable:

· Publications or presentations at an international level.
