E-Learning Specialist - 11 Month Contract
This position will be responsible for the management and administration of the Learning Management System (LMS) and leading blended learning development initiatives reporting to the e-Learning Manager and leading the LMS Administration team. This individual will be required to have thorough experience within the e-Learning industry and expertise in addition to knowledge of blended learning and design. This individual should have experience of the design and implementation of both business and regulatory learning strategy.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Support the e-Learning Manager on the development and delivery of the e-Learning strategy.
· Engage with stakeholders to define and design appropriate learning interventions across a broad business structure.
· Collaborate with SMEs' to conduct needs analysis, determine appropriate delivery method and develop lesson content based on subject matter, training strategy and organisational needs.
· Design and update existing instructional materials and e-Learning courses using blended learning approach.
· Evaluate business requirements and make recommendations leveraging knowledge of the technical and general learning & development environment and best practices.
· Accountable for budgetary responsibility, forecasting, curriculum management and activity reporting and communications. Maintain up to date technical knowledge of learning technologies and best practise skills.
· Recommend improvements to methodologies in order to more effectively deliver requirements and support the programs.
· Assess return on investment and ensure the quality of all e-Learning interventions.
· Build and maintain relationships with external providers, developing a competency based programme service approach.
· Responsible for the training of existing and new functionality on the LMS.
· Oversee all MIS deployment and LMS Administration.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Experienced e-Learning professional with track record of e-Learning design, delivery & sourcing.
- Demonstrable experience of L&D processes, demand management, requirements analysis and the use of blended learning.
- Experience in developing and delivering e-Learning strategies
- Strong System/Business Analyst experience
- Familiarity with SCORM, LMS Systems, and System Administration
- 2 - 3 years experience managing a Learning Management System (LMS)
- Working knowledge of HTML, Flash, and JavaScript
- Strong computer skills required - MS Word, MS Excel,
- Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to respond to internal customer needs, strong team-based problem solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
