In partnership with my client, I have an exciting opportunity for an accountant for a short term role with a media organisation in Dublin City Centre.  The role is for 4-5 weeks with a salary per annum of up to €50,000, depending on experience. 

My client are undertaking a valuation of their library of assets.  They intend to build a model which will grade each of these assets into a number of valuation categories and then apply formulae to work out potential future revenue of each asset.  The model will be built in Excel.

The role will involve assisting the Financial Analyst to populate the model, obtain results and make tweaks to assumptions to generate a valuation.

Skills and Experience:

-Advanced excel skills to include use of pivot tables and macros
-Significant experience with manipulating large amounts of data from various sources
-Experience with Excel 2010
-Experience of validating XL models.
-Familiarity with Great Plains would be an advantage, otherwise experience of taking downloads from ERP system and manipulating them for use in models.
-Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
