In partnership with its client, Kenny-Whelan is currently seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to work for their client in the Co. Galway area. The main focus of the role is:

· To apply company Group Standards to External suppliers
· To validate Supplier components on time
· Technical expertise for Problem Solving / incidents created by suppliers in current production

Job Responsibilities:

· Validate with Product Group SQA and purchasing network that VRFs are updated according to Group standards, and are containing especially (not exclusively), LLCs / Book of Defect / Commodity Check List and Design standards and SPPC Tracking Sheet
· Respect strictly the SQM (Supplier Quality Manual) and validate the AQP.pp deliverables
· Raise to Product Group SQA , Project Quality, Project Purchasing and Commodity Purchaser all technical issues encountered by the suppliers requiring a modification of the drawing, specification or VRF
· Validate 'Plan-Do' and 'Check-Act' responses for incidents created by a supplier falling in compliance with Group Standard reactivity : 24hrs / 5 days / 10 days
· Perform C1 and Wr Process Audits.
· Validate CSL1 and CSL2 requested to a supplier by a company site
· Preparation for the Top Worst Suppliers meetings when supplier improvement is required
· Responsible for the key indicators:

o Initial Sample approval on time vs. initial project time-line

o Red Launches along the probationary period (Stage 6)

o C3M - Incidents (C1 / C2 / Wr) for components in production

o Incidents recurrence

· Perform Process audit for project and C1 closing
