Kate Cowhig International Recruitment in partnership with its client are seeking a Staff Nurse 1 Speciality-D Nursing-Pediatric Cardiology Clinic for their premier hospital in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The hospital has a 531-bed capacity located in the Western Region of Saudi Arabia. It includes the new Oncology Center, which is the primary oncology research and treatment center in Saudi Arabia. The hospital also has a satellite 60-bed Transitional Care Unit. Other services provided are Medical, Surgical, Obstetrics, Gynecology, Labor and Delivery, Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for Adult, Paediatric and Neonatal services, Coronary Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room, Operating Rooms, VIP Wards, Day Center to include Ambulatory Surgery, and several Primary Health Care clinics spread over the Western Region.

EDUCATION
Essential
· Registered Nurse with a current Nursing license
· Diploma in Nursing (Western standard)
· Bachelor Degree in Nursing or equivalent
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Essential
· Two (2) years current clinical experience in specific area of practice
· Specific Certification as Required in area of assignment
· English Language Skills
· Arabic Language Skills: (Beneficial)
· Computer Skills
Responsible to: Nurse Manager / Nursing Supervisor
Basic Function:Within the mission, vision and values of the hospital and the Division of Nursing Services, provide total nursing care for assigned patients and assumes a leadership role when required. Rotates day and night shift to meet patient care requirements.
Principle Duties:
Clinical Practice:
· Provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process within establised hospital, divisional and unit specific policies and procedures, standards, protocols, etc.
· Demonstrates knowledge and clinical assessment skills appropriate to clinical area.
· Takes direct and appropriate action in urgent and emergency situations.
· Documents all assessments, interventions, and other pertinent information in the patient's health care record in a timely and ongoing manner.
· Promotes continuity of patient care through oral and written communication.
· Complies with hospital infection control and safety protocols.
Administration:
· Provides a leadership and resource role in the provision of patient care and performs other admin duties as assigned.
Education & Research
· Works with all health care team members in activities designed for the improvement of patient care outcomes.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Quality:
· Anticipates and acts to maintain a safe environment.
· Assesses own care, that provided by others, patient care systems, and continously seeks ways to improve.
· Complies with and participates in Quality Management Processes and activities.
Professionalism:
· Serves as a professional role model, teacher, and resource person.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
