What not to forget: Holiday Handover Checklist

An effective holiday handover will ensure colleagues know what’s expected while you’re away, reduce the risk of any issues and allow you to fully relax. A holiday handover should be done in person and supported by a detailed holiday handover document and Out of Office. If possible, speak to team members individually and answer any questions they might have.

Reinforce the answers to these questions, as well as any other necessary info, in your holiday handover document. A good holiday handover document should mean no one needs to call or email you for the entirety of your annual leave.
