Senior Financial Reporting Associate

Cpl are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a leading global company for a Senior Financial Reporting Associate based in the north-west. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company who provide a wide range of services and who put their people at the forefront of everything they do.


  • Conducts audits of Group Insurance clients to ensure the validity of the premiums paid to Prudential and provides detailed review of client administration records and comparison to the plan of benefits.
  • Compute the proper premium based on enrolment data and contractual benefit information.
  • Complete variance analysis -  planned v actual premiums. Follow up on outstanding premiums.
  • Assist Group Insurance with enhancing their administrative record-keeping practices.
  • Responsible for general administrative duties for the audit team, including scheduling audits and providing performance feedback for the other members of the audit team.
  • Additional ad hoc requests and project work as required.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Strong analytical, organization and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management & project management skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work on their own initiative with the minimum of supervision.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to be organized, flexible, prioritize tasks and work in a deadline oriented environment.
  • Demonstrates continual process improvement in assigned responsibilities.
  • Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or pursuing an accounting qualification.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Access.
  • General knowledge of the insurance industry and Group Insurance experience an advantage.
