Role Description

Recruitment Marketing Specialist – Dublin City Centre

Based in Dublin City Centre and working alongside a fast paced and dynamic HR team, this is new position working closely alongside an International Head of Talent. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recruiter or International careers specialist, to join a new team tasked with implementing a best practice talent strategy internationally. Working as part of the HR function and working closely with the local Talent Acquisition team, the International Recruitment Marketing Specialist will create and deliver effective strategic sourcing and talent marketing solutions to support the delivery of an effective international sourcing, recruitment and talent management strategy. 

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment

  • Work with the Head of International Talent to deliver a step-change in how this organisation ‘does’ international resourcing and talent management, contributing experience and best practices
  • Proactively create, capture and engage with a talent pool of potential candidates to work for the organisation internationally at a senior level
  • Build a broad and deep network and set of relationships with national and international professionals
  • Design and deliver Talent Community strategies for engaging with our talent pools on an ongoing basis
  • Identify new channels of recruitment in order to reach a broader audience in new geographies
  • Partner with the business and HR Business Partners to develop sourcing strategies for key senior international roles, as identified in Workforce Planning processes, leveraging sourcing diagnostic tools
  • Lead out on sourcing strategy execution for key senior international roles, delivering in partnership with academic hiring managers
  • Engage the business in adopting an active sourcing (‘Leader as Talent Scout’) role and support them by creating and delivering supporting materials
  • Contribute to the development of an appropriate referral scheme in support of sourcing activity
  • Continuously build and improve sourcing tools and processes, leveraging recruitment data, to ensure they are appropriately delivering on our business needs in terms of effectiveness
  • Input to succession planning processes and culture within the College to help inform future hiring needs and to support people development and talent management processes

Employer Marketing:

  • Input to and support the organisation’s Employer of Choice brand development and positioning
  • Contribute to an annual Digital, Marketing & Communications plan, in conjunction with our Marketing team, to continue to build awareness and promotion of working internationally
  • Design and deliver innovative national and international sourcing events and initiatives for the purpose of creating a pool of potential candidates to work for internationally
  • Attend national and international events to ensure all practical arrangements are in place, including liaising with Marketing and Conferences & Events teams, to develop and deliver items such as slides, brochures and stands

Key Requirements/Competencies:

  • At least 2-3 years previous experience in strategic recruitment and talent marketing, including digital strategies
  • Third level qualification in HR, Digital Marketing, or a Business related discipline
  • Up-to-date understanding of best practice trends in Talent Acquisition and Talent Management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, employing an effective communication style appropriate to audience, culture, and situation
  • Passion for delivering innovative HR solutions, building new HR capabilities, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills
  • High standard of computing skills, including Microsoft
