University Relations Lead – North Dublin

Cpl HR is seeking a University Relations lead to join a leading Multinational services firm with offices in North Dublin. Reporting to the Associate Director of TA, and will be tasked with advancing sustainable development and smart growth principles across a range of bold, transformative projects: leading the university relations activities and support the hiring strategy. The University Relations Lead will also liaise with campus organisations to identify and execute effective means of engagement with student’s e.g. business leaders hosting campus talks. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience delivering and designing University Relations Strategy for Ireland.

Role responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver a robust University Relations Strategy for Ireland
  • Identify, plan and coordinate participation in college and community careers fairs & other university sponsored events.
  • Engage with campus organisations to identify and execute effective means of engagement with student’s e.g. business leaders providing campus talks.
  • Work with the careers offices and placement offices at target universities to raise awareness of the company brand on campus and positioning it effectively to students.
  • Plan and coordinate student visit days and assessment centre’s held onsite within the company.
  • Own the internship program across functions
  • Collaborate with the HR & Training teams to develop and execute an effective training program.
  • Work alongside the Senior Management to provide networking events for interns to meet the Leadership Team. 
  • Develop and manage the Graduate Programs for the Science and Engineering department
  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers to ensure seamless on- boarding experience for graduates
  • Support the teams on the creation and delivery of training and development programs, including leadership development, that drive business results, support career progression and succession plans
  • Measure effectiveness of successful graduate hires

Role requirements:

As The University Relations Lead your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or related field desirable
  • Proficient in technology and social media tools
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a proven record of handling multiple projects and initiatives in a dynamic, constantly changing environment
  • Substantial experience in University Relations
  • Local market knowledge of Irish Universities
  • Excellent negotiation skills and oral/written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced working environment
  • Self- motivated with ability to operate independently, work proactively, and achieve optimal results
