Junior HR Business Partner

Role Description

JUNIOR HR BUSINESS PARTNER – PERMANENT – DUBLIN CITY

 

Cpl HR is sourcing a dynamic and passionate hands-on HR professional for the Irish arm of a global media organisation based in Dublin city centre.  This is a fast-paced and continually transforming organisation.  You will report to a newly appointed Group HR Director with a genuine vision for the organisation and its HR function.  This is a permanent opportunity and guarantees plenty of strategic involvement and personal progression.

The ideal candidate will be commercially focused with robust experience in driving employee relations, talent resourcing, optimising performance, learning and development, reward management and employee engagement. 

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain a fair, balanced and pragmatic people view and be a trusted, valued and integral part of the business and HR function
  • Support and manage recruitment, employee relations, coaching and performance management throughout the organisation
  • Actively work with the business to ensure strong and insightful communications and staff engagement
  • Drive a culture of learning and development from design to implementation
  • Manage payroll data and be the main point of contact for payroll internally and with the outsourced external provider
  • General HR administration and preparing of HR reports, as required
  • Compensation and benefits management and administration
  • Contribute to the evolution of HR processes, policies and procedures and support managers and employees with same

Role requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years HR Generalist experience in a fast paced environment
  • CIPD qualified/Third level degree in HR/related discipline is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven track record of building relationships across various Leadership styles
  • Experience in preparation of payroll and pensions administration
  • Team player, but able to operate independently with limited guidance
  • Strong business acumen and able to focus on compliantly achieving business needs
