Part-Qualified Accountant

Role Description

The main responsibilities of the role are: 

  • Assisting in the preparation of the Monthly Management Accounts.
  • Assisting in the preparation of the Annual Financial Statements.
  • Detailed monthly reconciliations and analysis of Balance Sheet and Income Statement.
  • Preparation of cost centre reports and analysis.
  • Ensuring all requirements from External Auditors are met and all issues raised are dealt with in a timely manner
  • Assisting in the production of regulatory returns on a quarterly basis.
  • Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of internal controls, processes and financial systems, ensuring processes and controls are adhered to
  • Other tasks as directed by the Team Leader or Finance Manager

Requirements:

  • Business, Finance or Accounting related degree or equivalent
  • A high calibre part-qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) or looking to pursue an accounting qualification with 1+ years general accounting experience
  • Confident self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative, multi-task and meet deadlines
  • High levels of energy and motivation
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills required
  • Strong MS Office skills, in particular Excel and PowerPoint
  • Keen interest in pursuing a career within the Finance team.
