HR Business Partner

Role Description


Cpl HR is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner for a permanent role with a leading not-for-profit organisation in Cavan.  This is a multi-site role which will require some weekly travel within the North-West region of Ireland.

This is a key role within the HR function, reporting directly to the Head of HR Business Partners. The successful candidate will be tasked with driving the People Strategy and delivering the full spectrum of HR deliverables aligned with the business’ strategic goals and objectives.



  • Be the HR point of contact for the employees and managers in a business area and work in alignment with the HR Leadership team
  • Ensure your business area people resources are optimized within and across the business area, focusing on employee productivity, effectiveness, performance management
  • Proactively support the delivery of HR processes and programmes
  • Enhance the employee lifecycle and in turn, organisational effectiveness
  • Identify the capabilities required to achieve business success and to design and implement interventions to bridge any gaps
  • Report on employee profile, retention, attrition, employee health and wellbeing, employee relations, engagement and communication
  • Lead the people aspect of the organisation’s change strategy and act as the performance improvement driver, provoking positive changes in people management in support of the business objectives
  • Provide business specific input to the design of Group HR policies and processes and to lead the implementation of these measures within the business through communication, coaching and the effective guidance of managers
  • Understand the Learning and Organisational Development needs of the Company and act as a liaison/support to the Learning and Organisation Development Team
  • Develop and maintain an effective and compliant HR administrative service, ensuring legal compliance on employment related matters


Skills and Experience required:

  • Minimum 5 years HR Management experience in a fast paced environment
  • CIPD qualified and Third level degree in HR/related discipline
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Business driven and people focused with excellent communication skills
  • High level of energy, drive and commitment
