HR Manager Part Time

Role Description

A global high tech organisation is recruiting a HR Manager as it continues to expand globally. This role is a good opportunity to make an impact by designing and leading the HR function in Ireland. Strong experience across the HR function is essential. Strong leadership, communication and influencing skills crucial. Candiates will need to have atleast 7-10 years of HR experience with several of those years at a senior level. 

A snapshot of your role

  • Translating business strategies and targets into the appropriate HR actions and initiatives.
  • Providing support, guidance and partnership on HR business approaches, supporting business in improving performance and profitability, and mitigating risk. 
  • Providing advice and guidance to management and employees on the full range of employee relations issues, in accordance with Irish employment legislation, company policies and best practice.
  • Working with managers to identify key talent and supporting the implementation of appropriate activities to support succession planning
  • Leading HR related training programmes for the site
  • Leading all site related recruitment activities and core induction process
  • Leading the annual performance appraisal, monitoring outcomes to meet internal metrics and benchmarks.
  • Working with other functions as appropriate to benchmark compensation and benefits to ensure that the business is competitive within the industry sector.
  • Participating in the development of roles and associated job descriptions, ensuring that they are appropriately graded and remunerated.
  • Ensuring equity in remuneration within agreed businesses units, highlighting and managing any areas of concern.
  • Analysing people metrics, e.g. including headcount reporting, recruitment activity, budgetary considerations, and, based on these, recommending amendments to drive business performance improvement as part of the annual salary review process.

Role Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and coaching skills
  • At least 7-10 years relevant HR management experience within a manufacturing/pharmaceutical environment.
  • Be flexible and capable of working on own initiative
  • Be committed to working to the highest standard and delivering high quality timely results
  • Have excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of HR activity
  • Be able to plan effectively and prioritise work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Degree or equivalent in HR, full CIPD membership or other relevant qualification.
