Cpl are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Administrator on behalf of our client based in South Down. Initially for 9 months but possibility of permanent contract.
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, the post holder will be required to work within a high volume automated accounts payable department.
Reviewing the post on a daily basis
Processing high volume of invoices through Invoices Online
Ensuring the accurate follow up of all invoice queries
Ensuring all accounts on hold are investigated and resolved
Communicating with buyers and suppliers on a regular basis
Reconciliation of supplier statements
Any other administrative/AP duties as required
Good attention to detail
Effective problem solving ability
Ability to self manage & work to tight deadlines
Ability to interpret and analyse data
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Results oriented with strong organisational skills
Minimum of 1 year previous experience working within an accounts payable role.
Good IT Skills including use of Microsoft Excel and Word.
Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
Experience of working effectively with others to achieve team goals.
Conversant with computerised accounting software such as ERP systems.
Experience in completing accounts payable supplier reconciliations.
Holds or currently studying towards an accounting technician qualification or a third level qualification in a Business / Finance discipline or equivalent.
Previous Accounts Payable Automated system knowledge.
3+ years’ experience of in a relevant Finance discipline.
