Senior Design and Project Architect Dublin
Role Description
Our client, major award winning Architectural Practice is seeking to recruit a Senior Design and Project Architect for their Dublin city offices. The successful candidate will be a talented designer, competent technical professional and will join the specialist major projects design team, reporting to the managing partner.
To be considered for the role you must:
- Be Degree qualified in Architecture.
- Have more than 5 years relevant post qualification experience.
- Have more than 5 years design experience in an Architectural Practice (or similar).
- Have thorough knowledge of Planning and Building regulations and guidelines.
- Have design experience in large modern Commercial and Residential projects.
- Be proficient in AutoCAD and Sketch-up.
- Have strong IT skills (Microsoft suite) and a high level of computer literacy.
- Be competent at liaising with other disciplines and consultants.
- Have working knowledge of Construction contracts (GCCC, RIAI)
- Be proficient in the English language (spoken, written, technical).
- Have excellent communications skills, strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Hold relevant permission to be employed full time in the Republic of Ireland
Ideally you will:
- RIAI Registered Architect
- Have design experience of modern office facilities and residential
- Have design experience of modern shopping centre facilities (or similar)
- Be proficient in REVIT
- Have concept design experience.
- Have interior design experience.
- Have detail design experience.
- Have experience of working in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Have team leader / management experience.
- Have a flexible approach to work and an ability to prioritise and manage time effectively.
- Be competent managing multi-aspects of large project whilst ensuring all deadlines are met.
The Role:
You will work in an award-winning offices for an award-winning architectural practice, in Dublin city. You will be working on major high-profile, prestigious, commercial and residential projects, where you will have unbridled opportunity to unleash your design flair, design concepts and technical capabilities. You will report to the senior partner in the practice.

Remuneration is negotiable depending on the experience, suitability and fit of the candidate. However, the ideal candidate can expect a salary in the order of €65,000 d.o.e.
