Senior Civil Estimator

 

Our client, an established Civil Engineering Contractor, is seeking to recruit a Senior Civil Estimator for their offices in Co. Kildare.

 

To be considered for the role you must: 

Hold a Minimum Qualification Degree in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying

Have 7+ years’ experience in Civil Estimator Role.

Have relevant experience in Pre and Post Tender on Civil Projects.

Have knowledge of relevant legislation and standards for Civil Projects

Have proven skills and experience in Preparing Civil Engineering Estimates

Have proven experience in Liaising with Design Teams, Management and Sub Contractors.

Have Experience in dealing with Supplier and Sub Contractor Enquiries.

Be proficiency in Microsoft Office packages in particular Project, Excel and Estimating Software.

Be proficient in the English language (spoken, written, technical). 

 

Ideally you will: 

Have a working knowledge / experience in both large and small civil engineering contracts.

Experience on Projects such as Infrastructural, Utilities, Earthworks etc.

Have experience in budget development, contract development & control and cost control

Experience in Advising on appropriate procurement and contract strategies.

Demonstrate a history of high standards in all core Estimator functions.

Be competent at ensuring all deadlines are met.
