The roles ultimate aim is the efficient preparation and on-time delivery/filing of statutory accounts across Europe, within the agreed budget and to the required level of audit quality. Your new job described You will Co-ordinate the on-time filing of all European Statutory accounts and audits through planning, tracking and monitoring progress throughout.
You will work directly with many stakeholders to provide oversight to ensure quality audit working files with supporting schedules and co-ordinate & manage planning and execution between related parties to ensure alignment and clarity of responsibilities in advance. Act as primary liaison with external auditors on all statutory planning, reporting and audit resolution issues – including fee management. You will develop, prepare and publish periodic metric based performance reports for quality of deliverables, on-time/on-budget filing, including review of contentious/open issues, potential risks to plan etc.
You will communicate on local GAAP requirements during course of year to market teams to ensure appropriate focus for year-end versus US GAAP. Advance planning and timely preparation is a key part to this role. Supporting continuous evaluation of Statutory Reporting process in terms of timing, cost and quality – propose solution to optimise balancing the need to stay within the laws of each market as required.
