Structural Engineer Design

 

 

Our Client; an established Multi Disciplined Consultancy organisation, is seeking to recruit a Senior Structural Design Engineer for its offices in Cork.

 

Essential Qualification & Experience:

• Minimum than 7 years’ experience in an Engineering Design Office (or similar)
• Must be Chartered & Recognised by Engineer’s Ireland
• Proven use of AUTOCAD 2D
• Proficiency in RC Detailing
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Proficiency in CADs RC
• Fluent/highly proficient in spoken and written English

 

Desired Qualification & Experience:

• Third Level qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering (NFQ L6)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills
• Liaising with Engineers to produce drawings that reflect design outputs.
• Liaising with Clients, Contractors and other members of the design team.
• Attendance at Design / Site meetings as may be required.
• Checking Drawings to ensure compliance with design requirements.
• Experience in providing PSDP Services Desirable.
• Experience in the role of Assigned Certifier Desirable.
