Role Description
Manual Tester, 35k, Dublin City Center
My client are a large consultancy based in Dublin City center, who are currently seeking both junior and midlevel manual testers to join their team on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will;
- Review requirements specifications
- Define test methods and create test plans for new/updated software
- Define, evaluate and maintain test plans for appropriate unit, functional and baseline regression testing for software applications.
- Design and deploy load and performance tests, evaluating limitations and changes to platform performance using tools such as Apache JMeter
- Design and deploy automated test scripts using automation software where appropriate and applicable
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent technical degree
- 2+ years of work experience in a similar role (primarily manual testing)
- Ability to analyse and understand problems of a technical nature (specifications, log files, etc.)
