Job Purpose / Key Responsibilities

As a Refrigeration / Chiller Technician mobile team member for the Dublin area, you will be a primary ‘on site’ contact for all technical service issues, trouble shooting and resolving highly complex systems within a set timeframe within service agreements and customer needs for a number of industrial clients in the Dublin area which will be allocated to you.  

 Duties will include;

• Execute a full site survey and compile and supply a full dilapidation report as defined by scope

• Communicate with customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site. Meet regularly with customer to become familiar with operating problems and reach full understanding of customer needs.

• Keep customers informed on the nature of service provided, outstanding issues, recommend system enhancement/upgrade/replacement and promotes the sale of change orders and/or additional labour & material work (L&M).

• Advise and instruct customers in system operations

• Understand and analyse relevant technical documents

• Lead diagnosis and repair system malfunctions requiring specific technical knowledge as well as an understanding on time and material requirements.

• Seek clarification and technical support where needed and escalate issues as appropriate.

• Provide guidance and supervision on installs, starts up and commission systems in line with defined regulations, standards and processes.

• Document works completed in a clear and concise way and promptly submits service reports.

• Maintain and improve technical proficiency in product lines as directed by manager.

• Ensure compliance with environmental and industry regulations, where required.

• Ensures compliance with company controls safety culture and adhere to all applicable safety standards, requirements and equipment.

  To be considered for this position you will have;

  An F-GAS 2079 card
  Experience with major manufacturers such as York/Trane/Carrier/Climaveneta/Airedale

  Experience of executing a full site survey, supplying a full dilapidation report defined by scope

  Service Maintenance experience

  Ideally Centrifugal and IREF experience

  Water-cooled and Air-cooled Chiller experience

  Personal Aptitude; Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  Exemplary verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience

  Prioritising and working to tight deadlines

  Ability to work autonomously in a mobile working environment
