Description
My client is a banking organisation who provides various business and personal commercial banking products to customers worldwide. They are now seeking a GDPR Business Analyst with a professional understanding for the GDPR compliance regulation and sufficient Business Analysis skills for managing regulatory data projects. Successful applicants will work closely with the SME data protection team.
Responsibilities
- Working with Subject Matter Expert (SME) lead to ensure Data obligations are met.
- Working with SME to ensure technical work is aligned to Data Analytics technical standards.
- Developing technical expertise.
- Carrying out technical work on Data Protection supervised by Lead SME.
- Translation of regulatory requirements on Data Privacy to system controls.
- Building relationships with technical peers in particular for Data Privacy.
- Working with cross-divisional SMEs on the implementation of regulatory requirements.
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience working on technical Data Privacy or Data Protection projects.
- Some knowledge of the regulatory environment for Data Privacy.
- Some understanding of the relationships between the Data Privacy regulation, Data Protection regulation, and secrecy laws in Banking.
- Proven experience implementing control environments that satisfy regulatory demands.
- Educated to Bachelor’s Degree level or above or equivalent qualification / work experience.
