UI Developer

Role Description

A cutting edge technology company working with huge retail companies on e-commerce products are seeking a midlevel UI Developer on a permanent basis. 

There will be the opportunity to learn Angular - the team build highly scalable and performant web applications using the Angular framework and TypeScript along with SCSS. While previous experience with these technologies is a bonus, it's more important to have the ability to learn and grow than being a specific match.

• Work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works 
• Build and styling layouts built within components, using patterns and best practises
• Collaborate with designers to create modern, elegant, and innovative user experiences
• Create smooth, performant Animations in JavaScript/CSS.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in cross-browser HTML and CSS, including the latest HTML5/CSS3 features
• Experience in Vanilla Javascript
• Experience with JavaScript/CSS animations
• Some knowledge of JavaScript Frameworks - Angular, React or similar
• Demonstrable track record in desktop and mobile web development
• Familiarity with and an interest in latest trends and approaches in web development
