HR Service Delivery Specialist

Role Description

CPL HR are delighted to partner with our client, a leader in the Irish energy sector, to recruit for the position of HR Service Delivery Specialist. We now require a passionate and enthusiastic HR professional to join their team to deliver HR service solutions for offices in Dublin and Belfast. 

Reporting to: Head of HR Operations. 


Main Responsibilities: 
• Refine and implement the HR service delivery strategy in order to support the business in the delivery of it's strategic objectives 
• Ensure the basics of the HR Operations service are delivered accurately, consistently and in a timely fashion. 
• Manage the implementation of HR policy and contribute to the design of new policy where required 
• Complete role and job designs and work with external reward experts to determine the appropriate reward mechanisms 
• Manage relationships with external providers of HR services 
• Manage procurement processes and assigned budgets 
• Analyse data and trends, produce KPIs, and make recommendations for change, in particular in relation to compensation and benefits 
• Prepare papers, presentations and recommendations for the HR leadership team and the business in general 
• Maintain accurate data and records. 
• Support talent acquisition in respect of resourcing - conduct competency based interviews with hiring managers 
• Work proactively with stakeholders across the business to ensure service requirements are successfully implemented in a timely fashion 
• Implement and maintain modern induction and on boarding practice 
• Produce relevant and timely management information on progress against Key Performance Indicators 
• Proactively build and manage relationships with Group Managers as the point of contact for HR service delivery. 
• Seek and implement process/service improvements including the application of new technologies 
• Support the performance management and annual reward process 
• Lead a small team of specialists to deliver on that strategy 
• Case management where appropriate 


Knowledge, Skills and Experience 
Essential: 
• Demonstrable experience of working within a modern HR organisation 
• Developed knowledge of HR policies and practices 
• Excellent interpersonal, communications and organisational skills 
• Must be service focused and an enthusiastic and positive self-starter 
• Excellent communications skills with the ability to communicate with all levels across the business and establish relationships quickly 
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills 
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing demands 
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a high pressure professional environment 
• Developed expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint 


Desirable: 

• Knowledge of HR across both Ireland and N Ireland 
• Knowledge of CORE HR 
• Some experience of implementation of reward policy an advantage 
• Previous experience in leading a team desirable 

Qualifications: 
• Primary degree in Business, Commerce, HR or related disciplines 
• CIPD qualified or working towards same.
