Senior SAP Application Consultant
£25,000 - £50,000
Straight into this, what are we playing at with a twenty-five-grand salary range?
Well, there’s a job needs doing, and we’re more interested in the type of person who can do it. Not their level.
The job that needs doing is consulting, specifically around implementation, integration and configuration of SAP applications typically for large scale complex global clients.
If you’re newer to the industry but you can do it, great. If you’re a more experienced manager and you can do it, also great.
Together, you’ll work out your level and pay you what you’re worth, with an annual bonus and salary review every year. Can’t argue with that.
Ho hum, so bloody what?
Literally every job you’ll do between now and retirement is going to involve SAP applications in some form, both client side and / or delivery.
Assuming you don’t, you know, join the circus or start a folk music band or something.
Big picture, you’ll be helping clients with their transformation strategies, supporting clients in the full lifecycle of SAP delivery projects, developing your skillset and knowledge across a broad range of industries.
It’s with a progressive company, looking to TREBLE this side of their practice.
In short, you’ll get opportunities where you and your career can flourish like no other.
So, is there anything bad about this role at all?
Well, that depends.
There is a travel requirement, potentially 3-4 days a week, to get onsite at clients across multiple locations.
However, there is also a model in place to complete as much project work as possible from our clients’ Belfast base.
So, if you enjoy the variety of being client facing and travel, as well as working remotely from a state of the art practice, you’ve got the best of both worlds.
See, I told you it’s a good company.
If you’ve been working with SAP for a few years, whether that’s in financials or supply chain, ask me the questions you’ll inevitably have about this job. I’ll answer them honestly. Anything I don’t know I’ll find out.
If you’ve got a background in consultancy, that’s delicious. If not, you’ll pick it up as my client offers full consultancy training – as well as developing your existing SAP knowledge further.
Same with the likes of Cloud ERP, and SCM applications.
I’m on 028 9072 5634. Ask for James Goodman (there are multiple James’ in our office).
