Role Description

Requirement

We are seeking an Investment Operations Manager to work in our Dublin office based in the city centre. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic, fast growing organisation.

 

The successful applicant will work closely with a global team, with team members in Asia and North America. They will also work regularly with other departments in the Company such as Client Services and with Client Integration on new business and service offerings.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage team and daily tasks in order to deliver a high quality client service as well as internal operations support
  • Responsible for management & maintenance of global security database for various financial instruments
  • Responsible for timely and accurate global portfolio pricing and valuation through different pricing/valuation systems
  • Set up and maintain straight through processing procedures for trade capture, pricing feed, and reconciliation
  • Process corporate actions, asset servicing, and credit activities at global portfolio
  • Respond and solve enquires regarding financial instruments, corporate actions, price interpolation, amortization, pricing & valuation, and other investment accounting system related issues
  • Involved in data vendor management such as Bloomberg, IDC, Thomson Reuters, MarkIt Partners, etc.
  • Involved in implementation, maintenance, and upgrade of core systems such as Geneva, Broadridge applications
  • Assist in other projects such as new client onboarding/conversion, client demo, and system/application UAT etc.
  • Assist in the client relationship management of Middle Office clients, including client satisfaction, SLA management, procedure documentation, and client coverage
  • Prepare and review Performance Reporting and resolve queries related to Performance Measurement and Attribution

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial services industry
  • Honours degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Math or other quantitative field
  • Strong knowledge of financial products and financial markets
  • Management and supervisory experience in a team-oriented workplace
  • Demonstrate ability to lead and develop a department and department staff members
  • Background in fund administration industry is an advantage
  • CFA or enrolment in similar professional programs strongly desired
    • Working knowledge of Aladdin, BIMS Portfolio Master and other Order Management Systems is an asset
    • Experience with major data vendors such as Bloomberg, Reuters, and IDC
    • Excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Well organized with strong time management skills
    • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Geneva and BIMS suite of applications is an asset
  • Knowledge of VBA/SQL scripting and Excel would be an advantage
