Role Description

Global Financial Services organisation have an urgent requirement for a Data Governance Administrator on a permanent basis. In the role you will play a key role in supporting Data Goverance and Management practices across the business and help improve the overall Data Quality.

Role:

  • Support the promotion of the Data Governance Framework across the business
  • Drive the implementation of the Data Governance Framework 
  • Data shared with external data vendors
  • Assist in Regulatory reporting projects.
  • Perform both desktop and data quality tool analysis of business data.
  • Development of accurate reports and insights to improve data quality.
  • Document and diagram changes to the data and systems environment.

Skills:.

  • Good experience in desktop analytical and formatting skills including Excel, Basic SQL, Basic VBA ect
  • An understanding of Data Governance best practice in the industry.
  • 2 - 4 years experience working within an operational or technology data role.
  • Proven communication and coaching skills.
  • The ability to understand and produce moderately complex data flows.
  • Able to work in a rapidly changing environment and self-prioritise tasks.
  • Dynamic "can do "attitude with a strong desire to improve and make things happen.
