Role Description

LIFE & PENSIONS – TEAM LEADER - GALWAY

 

This is an exciting role for someone QFA qualified to be part of a growing and ambitious team in Galway where you will lead, manage, train, coach and develop a team of professional Qualified Financial Advisers to deliver an outstanding customer experience and ensure optimum performance is achieved to support the company’s growth ambitions. You will work directly with the Head of Channel Development to leverage customer insight to inform and drive development and delivery of the Life Insurance strategy. You will constantly track adherence to business plans and strategic objectives, whilst also driving our policy growth ambition and optimised capacity. You will identify enhancements to processes to give customers a seamless and efficient service. You will undertake project work as required in addition to service delivery responsibilities

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead, manage, train, coach and develop a team of Galway based professional Qualified Financial Advisors to deliver an outstanding customer experience and ensure optimum performance is achieved to support our growth ambitions.
  • Work directly with the Head of Channel Development to leverage customer insight to inform and drive development and delivery of the Life Direct strategy.
  • Identify enhancements to processes to give customers a seamless and efficient service.
  • Undertake project work as required in addition to service delivery responsibilities
  • Provide guidance, support and oversight of all customer related activities.
  • Support development of best in class Phone Sales for both Life Direct and Strategic Partnership Outsource arrangements.
  • Monitor the delivery of services provided by internal & external providers in line with the agreed Service Level Agreements.
  • Reporting to HOF on a WOW basis on sales, conversion performance and pipeline management.
  • Appraise, Mentor and coach the sales team to attain and exceed performance objectives (focus on pipeline management).
  • Driving sales conversion of the team against ambitious KPI’s through positive and supportive leadership. Focusing on maximising productivity.
  • Design and deliver process enhancements to drive efficiency and performance.
  • Support delivery of sales in line with targets.
  • Production of management reports, including summaries and tracking documents.
  • Ensuring adherence with regulatory requirements.
  • Delivering effective people management.
  • Resourcing to meet requirement inline with capacity & campaign planning.
  • Ensures employees and stakeholders are using and understanding best practice processes to protect the company and its service.
  • Customer experience trends identified and required actions followed through to completion
  • Cost savings and increased productivity through improved sales and service driving efficiencies.
  • Supporting identification of service and process enhancements to support the digital delivery.
  • Drive through performance improvement where required.
  • Supporting delivery of Income and Profit ambition
  • Supporting growth of MPH in line with targets
  • Supporting growth of PIF inline with targets
  • Customer excellence – RNPS upper quartile
  • Project goals and deliverables achieved

REQUIREMENTS:

  • QFA (Qualified Financial Adviser) essential
  • Significant experience in life protection insurance and pensions.
  • Knowledge of the relevant regulatory environment, including but not limited to CPC, MCC, Anti-Money Laundering and Data Protection requirements.
