Communications Manager

Location: Letterkenny

Your Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to Senior Leadership team.
  • Liasie with internal Technologists, Product Managers, Corporate Communications, and external technology and business communities 
  • Ensure transparency about team vision, goals and strategy
  • Enable inter team communication to encourage collaborative solutions
  • Inspire external teams to adapt cutting edge technology and solutions
  • Engage teams and individuals to seek feedback, ideas and suggestions
  • Business-focused technical presentations
  • Executive Announcements
  • Team breakthroughs and updates across the technical organisation
  • Enablement and enhancement opportunities for customer office and external teams
  • Success stories, case studies and industry best practices
  • Manage and produce regular communications such as newsletters, blogs, and external articles
  • Run open house for Q&A, demo days, workshops and manage social intranet to encourage intra and inter team communications
  • Gather employee feedback and help drive continuous improvement of internal communications efforts by running periodic surveys
  • Advise and support colleagues on how to achieve effective internal communications through development and best practice sharing
  • Maintain the Sharepoint site(s) for the division


Your Essential qualifications, experience and skills:

  • Must have 3rd level qualification in Communications or similar.
  • Must have at least 3 years working experience in similar Technology focused environment.
  • Expert knowledge with internal communications.
  • Strong Stakeholder management skills and ability to influence.
  • Proven experience delivering and managing multiple projects.
  • Travel occasionally to the US
