Audit Services Manager

Role Description

Job Role:

The Team Member in this role will be responsible for effectively planning and performing audits as well capably evaluating audit/test results and providing Management with sound business recommendations to improve the overall control environment and/or improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of operations. He/she will also be responsible for reporting the outcomes of all performed audits to the VP of Audit Services in a timely and transparent manner. This position will also be actively involved in the audit follow-up process to help ensure timely remediation of audit issues. This position will interface with team members at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning, Execution/Wrap-up of Internal Audits and SOX Testing, including, but not limited to:
  • Performance of specific risk assessment to determine proper areas of focus
  • Review and customization of audit work programs
  • Execution of audit steps and preparation/review of audit work papers
  • Identification of internal control weaknesses and practical recommendations for remediation
  • Writing audit reports and presenting to and discussing with Management
  • Follow-up on remediation efforts
  • Assisting business units, where appropriate, in developing prioritized action plans to address control weaknesses
  • Special projects, as required


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA or equivalent
  • 5 - 7 years experience, preferably including Big 4 public accounting, manufacturing experience
  • In-depth knowledge of internal controls including ITGC as well as ability to identify opportunities for improvement and offer practical solutions
  • Knowledge of US GAAP
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to focus on desired outcome


Travel:

Must be willing and able to travel 50% - 60% of the time; including internationally as business dictates
