Cost & Management Part-Qualified Accountant

Role Description

On behalf of my client, a Dublin based pharmaceutical company, I am recruiting for a Cost & Management Accountant. I have an opening for a permanent Part-Qualified Accountant.

Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Processing journal transactions on ERP system in a timely manner. Processing of manual payments and nominal charges and direct debits, and posting of same on system.
  • Monthly bank reconciliation.
  • Bank transactions including provision of information for cash flows.
  • Preparation of Management Accounts
  • Finance Area backup on nominals, payables & receivables
  • Actual and/or standard cost calculations using COGS review, overhead recovery and variance analysis.
  • Assisting in the preparation and reporting of company KPIs
  • Inventory analysis and reporting.
  • Maintenance of the fixed assets register.
  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
  • Assist with year-end Financial Audit and liaison with external auditors.
  • Assist with preparation of annual budgets.
  • Completion of statistical returns, VIES / INTRASTAT and other statistical returns as required.
  • Assist in the preparation & review of Finance/Administration Department SOPs.
