Role Description

Manufacturing Mechatronic Technician - Antrim
Our client is currently recruiting applicants with good mechatronic maintenance knowledge to join their team of technicians.
Reporting to the Lead Technician you will provide technical support to manufacturing to ensure optimum performance of equipment and technical assets.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Conduct programming, fault finding and product analysis as required
Assist with installation, configuration, maintenance, repair and modification of production equipment and machinery as required
Perform machine and parameter set up changes
Conduct breakdown and preventative maintenance
Assist with equipment/process improvements
Maintain and develop documentation and records including technical documents and reports in line with IATF16949 requirements
Assist with investigation and troubleshooting of technical problems
Conduct specialist continuous improvement projects as requested

Personal Specification:
Time served apprentice qualified to HNC (minimum) in Electrical & Electronic or Manufacturing Engineering
Minimum of two years work experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
Technical experience in maintenance, programming, fault finding and product analysis
Familiar with mechanical drives and conveyor systems, electro-pneumatics, electrical control systems, PLC (any language) and SMT
