IT Service Desk Technician

 

The main purpose of this position is to provide 1st and 2nd level user support across a range of IT  service requests and to meet and exceed user expectations whilst working in accordance to agreed SLA’s.

Alongside the day to day support element there is also an opportunity to get involved in the set up  of new sites – so please be prepared to undertake a little bit of travel - delivery and support of LAN/ desktop projects, user OS migration, Office 365 software support, SCCM redesign and implementation, patch and patch management and other technical projects.

The successful applicant will have a 3rd level IT qualification – or relevant business experience – along with proven success in the delivery of business systems and/or services. Experience of supporting an Office 365 environment and Windows Server experience with a good level of networking essentials is ideal. You’ll need a minimum of 3 years hands on experience gained in an IT service desk function along with a good understanding of basic ITIL concepts of service fulfilment and incident management.
