QA Analyst

Role Description

A global leader on online payments and credit/debit card transactions are seeking an experienced QA Analyst to join their QA Dublin team. The role will involve ensuring that all software used on their bespoke systems are performing in accordance with their relevant specification.

 

The salary and benefits:

€35000 - €45000

The main responsibilities of the roll will be:

  • Document test activities so bugs can be reported to the Developers.
  • Ensure retesting can take place to confirm the issue has been resolved.
  • Work in accordance to the in-house testing standards.
  • Develop and agree testing plans.
  • Write test cases and carry out tests as specified.
  • Document the results of each test.
  • Log issues on the tracking systems and liaise with the Development team to ensure rectification.
  • Re-test bugs to ensure they have been fixed and update the tracking systems.
  • Maintain strong communication with management.
  • Follow and contribute to the in-house procedures and processes.

 

The skills and experience required:

  • Strong experience in working in a QA testing role.
  • Experience in credit card acquisition is desirable.
  • High level of numeracy with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A self-motivated attitude to work and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • ISTQB or ISEB certification would be a bonus.
