Role Description

Legal Secretary Belfast City Centre          

On behalf of our client Cpl Jobs are delighted to be assisting our client a small solicitors practice in Belfast for a Legal Secretary.

Job Purpose/Role:

You will be solely responsible for the Administrative Support of the office, working along side and supporting 2 solicitors and a paralegal. 

  • General administrative duties including typing, preparation of letters, filing, dealing with post etc;
  • Processing mail and the maintenance of a centralised team mailbox;
  • Taking and relaying messages/information;
  • Processing invoices and expenses in a timely manner;
  • General office duties e.g. photocopying;
  • Planning and organising travel and accommodation itineraries for members of the Legal Department
  • Dealing with all queries and requests in a courteous manner, filtering contact with solicitors as agreed and appropriate.

Experience Required for the Post

  • Extensive MS Office skills in Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience as an administrative assistant in a legal environment is highly desirable
  • Proven ability to ability to multitask, to prioritise and complete work effectively, within tight deadlines and to a very high standard with the flexibility and adaptability to changes in the working environment

This is a Permanent position and starting in September

Hours of work Monday – Friday 9am-5pm

Salary will reflect on level of experience but will be in the region of £15,000 - £16,000
