Management Accountant - County Armagh

Cpl are delighted to be recruiting for a Management Accountant on behalf of a valued client who are based in County Armagh. Reporting to the Finance Director the Management Accountant will be reponsible for the entire finance function including the provision of management accounts and reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing Monthly Management accounts
  • Preparing Cashflow statements and monitoring of cash and financing.
  • Preparation of VAT (ROI & UK), PAYE, RCT, Pension, and other returns and payments
  • Ensure accounts payable, accounts receivable and billings processes are timely, accurate and fully reconciled.
  • Credit control for accounts receivable department
  • Accurate journal entries and ensuring correct recording of payroll, insurances, rents, HP, insurances, intercompany and other expenses.
  • Continuous improvement initiatives across procedures, processes and systems
  • Monthly closing process.
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Statistical Filings
  • Prepare year -end audit file for Trading, Holding and Consolidated accounts.
  • Assisting in ad hoc tasks across firm

Experience:

  • Qualified Accountant
  • Sage experience
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Strong communicator

Salary circa £35k
