Product Developer & Sales Support (Specialising in Assets)



Reporting to the Head of Product & Sales Development, this role is with a life insurance company based in Ireland engaging

in the cross border distribution of insurance products to several European markets. Specialising in the provision of tailored insurance solutions to suit customers with complex investment needs, and committed to building strong customer relationships and provide world class service throughout the lifetime of our relationships.
Our distribution channels are varied, with Tied agents in Sweden & Finland, independent Intermediaries in our European markets and international Private Banking channels primarily in Luxembourg.


The Product & Sales Development team is a newly organised team with its main function to be responsible for providing a range of sales support & marketing services to the company’s distribution channels as well as developing and maintaining our product offering in the markets we operate within.


We are now looking for a Product Developer & Sales Support (Specialising in Assets) to join the team.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Provision of sales & marketing support to the company’s distribution channels including the Area Sales Managers for all our markets as well as new markets that the company may enter.
  • Provision of support to the company’s distribution channels in relation to our full range of products and procedures.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining our product offering in the markets we operate within.
  • Working with non-standard and IPO asset proposals.
  • Report to the Investment Subcommittee on non-standard and IPO asset proposals.
  • Developing new asset offerings.
  • Development and maintenance of marketing material for all our markets.
  • Provide training to colleagues on changes to products or processes where necessary.
  • Project work.
  • Maintain flexibility within the department, assisting colleagues where possible and if work load demands.


Knowledge and Experience:

  • High degree of self- motivation and commitment to meet challenging targets.
  • Passion for assets.
  • A good level of knowledge and understanding of assets.
  • Relevant experience in cross-border and international insurance industry an advantage.
  • Knowledge of our core markets.
  • Knowledge of the financial services regulatory environment an advantage.
  • Client focused.
  • Business minded and solution oriented.
  • A strong team player with high level of personal initiative.
  • Good collaboration and communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to form strong business relationships.
  • Excellent administration skills and must be able to demonstrate good attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage time and to plan activities to effectively meet deadlines.
  • Proven experience leading projects.

The salary on offer for this opportunity is between €35-45,000 plus excellent benefits.
