Cpl is delighted to have won the premier award “Recruitment Agency of the Year” at the National Recruitment Federation awards in the Shelbourne Hotel. Hosted by Gavin Duffy there were a record of 372 attendees at the gala event.
The win was attributed to Cpl's innovative work with candidates and clients, its expansion into other markets, its focus on bringing back the Diaspora to Ireland and the creation of the Future of Work Institute in Ireland.
Anne Heraty, Cpl CEO, picked up the award on behalf of the company and said, "This award is great recognition of the hard work of our entire business.To be recognised by your industry- an industry we are proud to represent - is the highest accolade you can receive in business. It's such an honour, especially as we receive the award on our 25th Anniversary."
The evening brough even more success for the Cpl Group as our very own Kate Cowhig, who started her business in 1990 and has one of the most successful healthcare businesses, received t
he James Kilbane award. A Special recognition award put in place in honour of a great man who was instrumental in putting the Irish recruitment industry on the Global map. Her professionalism and commitment to the nursing profession shines through everything she does - the Filipino nurses call her “Queen Kate” and justifiably so. Kate put her success down to her work ethic, professionalism, candidate care and the ability to get things done.
Cpl also won the Healthcare agency of the year which Cpl Director Niall McDevitt picked up on the night and finally our Light industrial brand Flexsource was also a winner for “Best in Practice - Light Industrial”.
The night was hosted brilliantly by the NRF and was superbly organised.
The awards come as Cpl continues to grow with our recent announcement of 200 new jobs over the next two years and our continued commitment to engaging with the Irish Diaspora.
